The firm’s transactional practice spans a broad spectrum of issues, representing financial institutions and other lenders in all aspects of commercial loan transactions, including drafting loan documents, and due diligence review of information relevant to borrowers and guarantors. On the flip side, our firm also represents high net worth foreign individuals, business entities and family offices, in all aspects of their U.S. business operations – which in large part include residential and commercial real property investments. In total the firm has represented buyers, lenders, and sellers in over 1,200 real estate transactions over the past decade. The firm has extensive experience in virtually every type of middle market and small business loan transactions, including term loans, committed revolving credit facilities, lines of credit, commercial and residential real estate acquisition loans and construction loans.
The firm has a substantial amount of experience representing clients in the arbitration and litigation of international and domestic disputes. The firm has successfully represented many corporate and individual clients in Florida State Court, Federal Court, and the Florida District Court of Appeals. These disputes include claims related to international sales and supply contracts for goods, equipment and services, real estate disputes and aviation matters. The firm has argued disputes before numerous arbitration panels, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution.
