To end 2020 Gerardo Vazquez recently represented the seller of a waterfront luxury spec home. The home sold for a recording setting price for the up-scale Town of Bay Harbor Islands. The sale shows the increased mometum that the Miami real estate market has shown over the past few months, with wealthy buyers from all over the U.S. flocking to South Florida. These buyers are looking for homes to live in, and not just vacation residences or condos.
While 2020 was a year full of adversity, many sectors of the firm’s business remained strong, which should be a good sign to come of a continuing economic recovery. In total the firm represented clients in transactions worth over $260 million in 2020. These included other headline making transaction such as Representing the purchaser in the purchase of an Office Industrial Complex in Fort Lauderdale, Representing the purchaser of a nationally anchored Retail Center in Pompano Beach, and Representing a European based hotel developer regarding the purchase of its first project in North America, a future Collins Ave. boutique hotel.
